About Aadhaar ECMP and UCL

ECMP (Enrolment Client Multiple Platform) is the client software used at Aadhaar Seva Kendras for enrolment and updates. UCL (Update Client Lite) is the update client used primarily for demographic updates, commonly by CSC VLEs per UIDAI policies.

ECMP Essentials

Used at authorized enrolment/update centers with required devices (biometrics/IRIS) and certified operators.

UCL Overview

UCL enables eligible CSC VLEs to perform certain demographic updates, following UIDAI/CSC guidelines and compliance.
